Johnson the well known actor is also a former resident of Wichita,
Kansas. While attending high school in Wichita, he took part in his
first actual film roll in a student project shot by the South high
school art class of Charles H. Sanderson. The film is called "Smelling
Tennis Shoes and Road Graders" and it's a comedy based on the pop
culture of the time with Don Johnson performing in a wrestling skit
where he simulates slow motion while combating an opponent. This is
an excerpt from the 18 minute original 8mm film with Don Johnson's
appearance, he is the performer with the green tights. |
